“We employed ASTRUC for some weeks during 2008 to undertake some major changes at our recently acquired property in France including alterations, refits and a new extension. From our first enquiry they responded promptly in visiting us to view our house and listen to our requirements. They made helpful suggestions including what type of materials we would best benefit from, which suppliers would give us the best service and delivery times and what order the various works would be best undertaken so as to avoid too much disruption to family life. Also helpful was giving us realistic time schedules for when they would undertake the work and detailed written estimates on costs with allowance for variations according to material choice and unforeseen problems occurring during the works. They showed a good knowledge of French building regulations and planning requirements and employed efficient French sub-contactors to attend to electrical and plumbing installations.

We have employed ASTRUC on many occasions over the last eight years to carry out a large range of works on our barn conversion in the Lot and Garonne.
Prior to selecting ASTRUC we had two other building contractors, neither of whom matched the quality and efficiency we have received from ASTRUC. We particularly like the fact that Andrew and the team at ASTRUC are excellent at discussing our initial requirements and proposing the most effective way to carry out the work. They are creative, they understand French building regulations and planning requirements, and are able to provide and manage quality French sub-contactors when needed.
Whilst we were away from site, they kept us up-dated as to progress and often sent photographs of work complete. All work was completed according to our requirements and within the time and financial parameters they estimated.
